Well renown winemaker Sandro Mosele has produced a stunning example of a Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay made from fruit grown on the property in the warmer area of Balnarring. This lovely honey straw coloured wine has spent 10 months in French oak which adds complexity to the already great fruit.

The 2004 vintage saw an abundance of grapes, ripe for the picking. This wine has ample fruit flavour showing the typical cooler climate character of melon, supported by toasty oak.

The 2003 vintage was trouble free. The grapes were picked at their optimum and after crushing, fermenting and then hand pressing, the wine was left to mature in the barrel. The finished wine has a hint of plum and a touch of earthiness that marks a Pinot. The palate is smooth and medium bodied with a light tannin backbone.
